Populism in Armenia

About the research

"Populism in Armenia" research was conducted in 2021, by the "Political Dialogue" organization within the framework of a small grant project of Friedrich Ebert Stiftung.

"Populism in Armenia” research represents the populist discourse in the Armenian political field. The texts of key political actors of Armenia were the subject of analysis and assessed whether they are populist or not and, if yes, to what extent. It should be mentioned that this research was based on the assessment criteria elaborated by Team Populism. As a result of this research, a unique collection of Armenian modern political forces' key actors' values, political ideas, and discourses was formed, which is one of the indirect results of the research.
